Random Thoughts
We've all had them at one time or another. Those fleeting moments of
inspiration or insight, brief flashes or scattered random thoughts that
come and go quickly through our consciousness. Many of the things I've
written started out that way. A stray verse, a saying, or a line from a
song I heard that sparked something inside me. I got in the habit of keeping
a notebook where I would quickly write these bits and pieces down, then
go back later to see if anything would come of them.
Sometimes they would grow into a complete poem and sometimes not, but
I was always hesitant to discard them on the off chance that something
might become of them. So that is the purpose for this page. Sort of a depository
for "brain graffiti". I also invite you to add your own to the page. Your
thoughts, bits of wisdom, general viewpoints on life, or whatever strikes
you as interesting enough to share with others.
Please use this form to submit your thoughts and I
will post them as soon as I can. Come back as often as you like to contribute
more. And thank you again for visiting the cabin. Peace.
"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides and gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of Love. And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we shall have discovered Fire."

There is so much debate today about "sex education" in schools. But
kids seem to have a pretty good grasp on that already. I'm wondering if
they shouldn't consider "life education" instead. - Alan W. Goodson
Love isn't something you feel...it's something you do. - Alan W. Goodson

Love is about giving, sharing and caring for another person, yet
few people realise this. If love is selfish, why do we feel so incomplete
on our own?

"When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations.
When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the
richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses,
for art establishes the basic human truths which must serve as the touchstone
of our judgment."

The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done. So, always
keep busy, for if there be just one idle moment you may be stuck in a cavern
of nothingness for eternity.

~Success~
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better,
Whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived
This is to have succeeded.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
I envision... a world in which every human being has awakened to the
knowledge that we are the 'Creative Force' in Human Form. When this awareness
becomes realized within all of us, Love is the result! Everyone will
know then that all of us are One Family, One Being and have One Purpose.
Which is to share our abundance freely and love the Self We Are in Human
Form...
Light... Love... and Laughter.

waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

An interesting place, this cabin of yours. A place of peace and
reflection. I'll journey again to this door, and read once more the
essence of your soul. It is, after all, not very different from my
own.
