1773, Princess Anne DB13:206.
William1Wm2Wm3Wm4 #4117 who married Elizabeth Thorowgood #4102. This is an
unlikely coincidence that this William also married another Elizabeth "Betty"
Thorowgood. Mrs Walter cites a Family bible from Texas for this. Family
Bibles, either through unintentional half-truths or the need to join DAR, etc.
This UNLIKELY COINCIDENCE should be SKEPTICALLY INVESTIGATED. Iris Borg
reports no confirmation at all in available records.

Margaret ELLEGOOD? LAND

[moseley1.ged]

Both of these maybe the wrong Wm. Moseley that Margaret married. Norfolk Will
Bk. 03:148 will of Elizabeth Moseley names a niece Peggy Ellegood, so if one
of the Margarets was an Ellegood, the one that married Wm. #6881 is more likely
Walter asserts Margaret is daughter of Jacob Ellegood citing Princess Anne Dee
Bk. 7:447 of 1753 but abstract lists no such Moseley connection.
We dropped the Wm moseley son of Francis #4241 as a possibility for who marrie
m land because wm and mary qtrly  1: 169 reported says witnesses to the mary
laud/land marr bond were christopher and wm moseley.(although in general LAND
name connects better to the wm son francis #4241.

Mary MOSELEY

[moseley1.ged]

Princess Anne DB13:206, written in 1773.
Princess Anne Co VA court Minute Book 7: 196 of 16 sep 1755 : mary is repre-
sented by her father Francis as mary under 21 (or 18 possibly age for females).

Frances MOSELEY

[moseley1.ged]

LDS #0001042 unauthoritatively inserts a frances into many of these moseley
families. this frances is listed in a will,I believe, so she's certain, but
anyway an inserted frances as her paternal uncle includes the assertion that
she married a parrish, presumably related to john parrish who md a moseley
since this frances is valid I include the possibility in these notes that some
frances moseley might've married a parrish?

John MOSELEY

A copy supposedly from wm&Mary Qtrly 16(1):273 says Mary Ligon Moseley
(maybe his mother or daughter?) married Lewis Clarke amelia co VA mar 1799.

Joseph MOSELEY

[moseley1.ged]

when looking at LDS microfilm #0001043 for this man, I made the note : "Adm of
father's will Chesterfield co Va Book 5- ?222 or 272? Deed Bk 6: 255."
A copy supposedly from wm&Mary Qtrly 16(1):273 says Mary Ligon Moseley
(maybe his mother or daughter?) married Lewis Clarke amelia co VA mar 1799.
Iris Borg email Jan 1999: A Joseph Moseley of Chesterfield Co. VA shows up in
Brunswick Co. VA in 1780 and buys some land.  In 1787 he sold part of it and wa
described as Joseph of Lunenberg Co. 1787 tax list lunenburg co has a joseph
with no boys 16-20 yrs old. Could that be this joesph moseley.
