Vivian R. Wehmeyer, 80, passed away Jan 10, 2002, in Akron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Wehmeyer, and her son, Loy Wehmeyer Jr. She lea ves behind daughter LaVonne (Rick) Neale of Norton; sons, John (Donna) Wehmeyer of Virginia a nd Wayne (Connie) Wehmeyer of California; grandchildren, Wendell and Amanda Van Sickle, Marc , Leslie and Alex Wehmeyer; great grandchild, John Stephenson Wehmeyer.Cremation has taken place. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
(Cremation Society of Ohio, 330-835-1012)2. Interment took place at 10:00 am 15 Jan 2002. Donna Wehmeyer read the 23rd Psalm, Amanda V an Sickle read a poem and John Wehmeyer read the 116th Psalm. Vivian is buried next to her h usband Loy Wehmeyer and her son Loy Wehmeyer, Jr in Section 7.

Cameron, page 215 states that she died in the home of her daughter , Katherine Killinger Scherer. Her marriage bond states that she was the daughter of Hugh Atk ins, deceased. The Smyth County, Virginia, Death Register, page 66, holds a date of 23 Marc h 1864 as her death.
