Jackson Green MCCOWN

Parents: Francis McCown and Nancy Swinney.  Jackson was youngest of 10 known children.

Jackson and Anna had nine children; the four youngest were born in AR.

Jackson and Anna both died of pneumonia less than two weeks apart.

Mary Ann THOMPSON

Mary A. Thompson and Hiram J. Cunningham were heirs and legal representatives for Nancy Ann Thompson, daughter of Thomas B. Goodson (in matter of Thomas' estate).  

October 16, 1876, Howard County, AR court:
Mary and Hiram petitioned the court for 1/2 of Mary's brother, John's, inheritance due to him via his mother, Nancy Goodson, from her father, Thomas B. Goodson's estate.  Both John and his mother died before Thomas B. Goodson's estate was settled in 1881.


Floy Rector GOODSON

Floy died in construction accident after a ditch collapsed on him.  He was working as a plumber.  

The middle name, Rector, originates from his mother's side.  Her great-grandfather, William Woodruff, married Hannah Rector.
